Pikes Peak APEX Mountain Bike Gravel Race
About this event
On Saturday, 13 June, racers will take on the Queen of the Canyons Gravel event, featuring the epic route that travels dirt roads to Cañon City and back, conquering Gold Camp Road, Shelf Road, and Phantom Canyon. A shorter course option will also be available, and timed segments will ensure racing takes place only where it’s safe to do so.
The CMTRA job entails riding street legal dual sport motorcycles as moto escorts for this 135 mile gravel race. Our escorts will ride in front of the racers to warn oncoming traffic that racers will be following. We will also have escorts in the back of the racer group to provide the same warning to traffic approaching the group from behind.
