We had a guest speaker, Dave Leinweber, owner and manager of Angler's Covey, and founder of the Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA). He is also an At Large City Councilmember. Dave spoke about community involvement in outdoor recreation and sustainment of various trail systems. Thanks for coming, Dave!

We were awarded our Penrose singletrack trails grant and although out grant request for the practice/skills area wasn't approved, word is it will most likely be approved when fallout money becomes available.
We had a great turnout for our 6 June workday on Captain Jacks. Work was accomplished on trails 701 and 668, particularly at the Nelson's Camp area on 668 (Pipeline) trail. Thanks to everyone who came out to help.
