Our September meeting had 24 members and 2 guests attend. The meeting slides have been uploaded to our documents library. Log in to check them out and learn what your club has been up to this past month.

We are making progress on the new trails at Penrose Commons. We have the Archeological study happening and Trailcat Enterprises has marked out the trails. If you are riding down there and see the flags marking the proposed new trails, DO NOT DISTURB THOSE FLAGS OR RIDE THOSE AREAS!!! Doing so will seriously jeopardize our efforts to get new trails created.
We have a workday at Penrose Commons scheduled for Saturday, 27 Sep 2025, to help the Royal Gorge Field Office BLM folks install some permanent fire rings at several camp sites. If you haven't helped with any of your Club's workdays this summer, now is your chance to catch up. Please sign up on our calendar event and come join us for this workday, which coincides with National Public Lands Day.

Our member spotlight was AMA Hall of Famer Bill Brokaw. Without doubt, Bill is our oldest member, turning 93 in December. He just bought himself a new motorcycle, and plans to put many miles on it in the near future. Bill has written a great book, My First Ninety Years, which can be found on Amazon. It's a fun read, and a good history lesson on motorcycling here in Colorado and in Southern California. Get your copy here:
